3 very weird items to kick off our blog you say? Yes we say!
These are 3 essential items that allow us to enrich our youth groups.
Lets start with Uno. Its a great card game to whap out at any session, you can have 2 or 20 (Yes we’ve done that!) players so you can start playing from the moment the first young person walks through the door. Making sure there are no awkward moments or people feeling left out as they settle into the session.
Speakers as in music speakers not people who go and speak at conferences! This is a piece of kit that is really worth investing in. Music is so important for setting the tone. Wether your having a high-energy sports night, chilled out cafe or listening to a worship album it can be in the background helping you create the right environment.
And finally we have Doughnuts ohhhhh yes. Young people love food, we love food. Its a win win. Having a small bit of food & drink at your sessions doesn’t have to cost the earth. Just make sure you get to the supermarket at the right time when they reduce everything. Or make friends with someone who has a cash and carry card and your onto a winner!
